Maintains serving line in a clean, neat and organized manner; requests replenishments as needed.
Ensures all beverage containers are full, i.e., soda, ice tea, juices.
Assists in preparing salads, desserts and nourishments.
Wipes down tables and chairs in the cafeteria throughout the day with an approved cleaner.
Clears soiled dishes/trays; scrapes refuse into garbage containers; loads dishes/trays onto cleaning racks; rinses dishes/utensils.
Disposes of trash/garbage in the appropriate manner.
Loads and operates dishwashers: trays, dishes, cups, silverware; inspects cleaning to assure quality performance.
Mops floors as scheduled and as needed.
Puts away stock inventory; notifies supervisor when stock item needs ordered.
Treats patients/families/visitors with respect and dignity.
Observes infection prevention and control practices at all times; processes food items according to safe food handling procedures.
